Pitti Uomo

I recently returned from my honeymoon in Europe and while I was over there my wife and I visited the world renowned Pitti Uomo trade fair in Florence, Italy.The huge exhibition space in Fortezza da Basso is filled with everything from suiting to street wear.  It is buyer's heaven for everything to do with men’s fashion.  - The pitti fair is as famous for the number of fashionable men attending the fair simply to have their photo taken from the top street photographers of the world - not a buyer amongst them!  The trade fair runs for 4 days in June.We found a great tie and pocket square company in the exhibit that had a beautiful range of pure silk ties and pocket squares hand made in Italy. I purchased a huge range which is expected in our shop by September this year.The Italian styles varied quite a lot but we noticed a huge increase in double breasted suits. Trouser legs were quite short and no one wore socks!
